The Center for Bioanalytic Metrology Fall 2020 Industry Advisory Board (IAB) meeting, hosted by Purdue University, will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 12:00-4:30 pm (ET), and Wednesday, December 2, 12:00-4:30 pm (ET), 2020.

Who

All current members, potential members, and participating or interested faculty and students are encouraged to attend.

Registration

Follow this link to register for the meeting. As the meeting approaches, all registered participants will receive an email with the links and passwords for the secure Zoom sessions, as well as a link to the Gather.town platform, which will be used for the online happy hour on Day 1 and the poster session on Day 2. Please register by Monday, November 30.

Poster Session

We are actively soliciting CBM-related posters for the meeting. The poster session is open to all faculty and students currently participating in CBM-supported projects or any who believe their research may be of interest to IAB members. The session will be held on Day 2 of the meeting on the Gather.town platform. On the registration site, please indicate your interest in presenting a poster and its title. Proposal submissions must be received by Friday, November 20. If selected, you will be sent the details for formatting and uploading your poster.

Professional Development Session

Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Researchers: CBM is hosting a special session for you on Day 2 of the meeting to discuss topics in professional development, especially from an industry perspective. Planned topics include resume writing, scientific reporting, work and recruitment during COVID-19, and others raised by industry partners. All grad students and postdocs who register for the meeting will be sent the link for this Zoom session later in November.
